Social Media & Community Manager at Primus-Silva

Then you might be the one we are looking for in our brand new position as Social Media & Community Manager at Primus-Silva! Here, you will work with two premium brands in a vibrant role responsible for one of our largest and most important showcases – our social channels.

Your Responsibilities

As our Social Media & Community Manager, you will work hands-on to build our brands by moderating our social media. You will focus on organic content, aiming to reach a broader audience and grow our follower base while increasing engagement. Your tasks will include:

• Editing videos based on existing material.
• Selecting quality photo content.
• Writing concise post texts.
• Participating in events to create great content that gives followers a behind-the-scenes look. Examples of events include various trail runs and Vasaloppet, where we are sponsors.
• Managing our influencer collaborations, ensuring that the material we acquire from our partners aligns with our communication goals.
• Collaborating with DTC to optimize content for paid channels.
• You will have a budget and be responsible for using it effectively with our strategy in mind.

Currently, we are mainly on Instagram, but we plan to expand to more platforms. In your role, you will be responsible for ensuring that what we post adheres to our strategic guidelines, and you will work closely with our CMO, DTC team, and creative team. Since we work with two brands, Primus and Silva, it is essential that you can easily differentiate between the brands and our various strategies and target groups, even though they are somewhat similar. The role also involves responsibility primarily for our focus markets (Sweden, Norway, the UK, and Germany). We want you to be prepared to work at least three days a week from our headquarters in Bromma.

Your Profile

For this position, we are looking for someone with a strong interest in sports and outdoor, combined with a passion for social media. You will be a strong ambassador for our brand, so it is important that you understand both our products and our target audience. We believe that you have:

• Experience working with Meta's tools and formats
• Experience editing short videos from existing material, as well as writing short and impactful post texts
• An eye for quality content and the ability to quickly see what aligns with our brand strategy.
• Worked with multiple channels and platforms simultaneously – preferably also with storytelling in some form

As a person, you are creative, curious, communicative, and outgoing, which is important since you will also be responsible for our Community – you will follow up on our comment sections, respond to DMs, and ensure that we maintain a positive energy in what is shared on our channels. The role is a mix of strategic and operational work, and we always welcome your own ideas and initiatives.
